Default Tamiya Wrangler and Losi-mini chassis kit?

Will this work?
I have a Tamiya CC-01 Wrangler with a great scale hardbody I love to turn into a decent 1.9 scaler - I just can't see paying $100+ for a chassis kit.
Well, I ran across a pair of chassis rails on TCS Crawlers designed for the Losi Mini. It looked about the right size - and for $29 - why not!
What do you guys think?
I have an aX10 I can use for the rest of the parts I need.

if you have the Ltrail you should be able to make it work. the Ltrail is just a smaller MRC specific version of their Xtrail, which is the chassis to convert the ax10 to a scale rig.

You may need to drill new holes for the skid and possibly drill new holes in chassis for links, or make new shorter links but otherwise should work fine. Looks the right length too.

Sweet little Jeep!
I hope mine turns out half that nice!
I'm using the same wheels only in black chrome with the Tamiya tires from a Tundra Hilux.
I'm going to use a dark metallic green with a tan top - going for a 'US Parks and Recreation' look for my Jeep.
Again I love that yellow and black color scheme you used .

I am building one right now with the same body and chassis...it will work. I am not using the stock MRC skid though....I am using the skid from a Fubar Mini Skeeter.
