I got some work done today after the run, i noticed it is way to "sloppy"/soft in the rear suspension, i have new shocks coming in that i can have oil in and fine tune them more to what works.

But i also fabbed up a sway bar for the rear to see how that would work, i only miss one rod end to see how it works and how it will affect the flex, i got bad body roll the way it is now so i need to play around with some ideas and see what works best.

Also want to say thanks to monkeyracer for making me a better license plate logo, cheers man!

Sway bar. (dont mind the mounts, i will shave them if it works like i want)

New license logo.

This thing looks exactly like Eddie's JK (Owner of jk-forum.com) Job well done. I do use a sway bar in the rear of my 1:1 with the Evo lever setup as well so it should help alot.

Go to rc-jeeps.com, there is a vendor over there who makes a chassis for the jk body, he also does custom chassis.

The links you have to do your self anyway, you should decide wich body you want and buy one, then you can measure and check fit of chassis you want.

Thanks!

Do you use a stock swaybar or the comp one? does the comp one have a bar that goes thru the frame in the tube on the evo frame?

Thanks!

Now 3 sway bars later...puh...i broke 2 due to i heated the hardening on the rod off 2 times but the last one should hold.

But i dont know if im gonna run it with a sway bar, its very stiff in the articulation and limits flex alot but body roll/torqe twist is all gone.

I wish i could use a sway bar but i need to figure a way to get more flex then i have now.
I think its the weight of the truck that dont make it flex more, the rod is to stiff and truck to light.

Anyone got an idea of what i can do to make it flex better??

I maybe have to ditch it and solve the bodyroll/torqe twist problem with the new shocks, some thicker oil maybe can help a little.

I will give it a test run tomorrow with sway bar to see how it works, it looks cool anyway!

Here is some pics...

Hey man this is one of the best JK on this web site, I have been fallowing it the hole build. If you can turn the transmission backwards, I did this on my comp rig and it fixed it. But I know how tight and little spece scale trucks are. The sway bar will limit your flex a lot.

i can see what you mean by it limits the flex...add more weight to the JK. ummm...maybe you can find a swaybar from a Losi or Associated kit and use it and maybe it will be a smaller OD and flex better.

Hehe! Its heavy enough as it is! :-P

I will go buy a thinner rod for the sway bar tomorrow and bend up a new one, the one i have now is to stiff but made one hell of a difference even beeing that stiff and limiting flex, but i could make some lines now that i couldnt before.

So sway bar is a keeper, just have to fine tune it a lil!
