Default ....project XJ....first scale build

i figured i would start a new project. i acquired some home made frame rails, not the best, but work. i figured i would start a scale project. at the moment the truck is being pretty cobbled together as i want to get it running so i can hit the trails. it will be built up nicer over a period of time. anyway, lets cut to the chase...

project super budget rock crawling tree toppling super awesome XJ trail rig

axles: ax10
trans: ax10
power: custom build 27t and 12v
ESC: mamba pro(really want to find a used XL2.5)
axial wheels
still trying to decide on what tires to use.

I wouldn't knock those rails, they look pretty nice!
Give some more info on the goodies going into it?
Trans/axles/drivelines/.......

Lansing Michigan??
Have you been out to the Ledges?
Any other places over there?
I am in Holland, but we meet in GR to trail run a bit. Some of them have been to a park in Lowell.

yeah. im just sad i used more stickers on this one. normally its all paint, but i couldnt find a good amber color for the side markers. im also considering doing the later model side markers, not a big fan of the huge ones.

Really like the way the color matches with the xj. Sum proline swampers would look mean with your setup!
