mine wasnt a long build but i have a buddy with a hobby store so i could get parts whenever needed lol i started with an ax10 then bought the scx10 chassis found a body that i liked and went to work id say total build time was around a week an half but i had parts laying around and i pretty good set of budies who know alot close by...my truck is built for driving and to hold up well to any trail if climbs great takes hard hit (yesterday fell 15ft landed on wheels and drove off the trail for repairs which were only rod ends breaking so im way happy with it what springville? the one in utah? is so u need any help im just a city away and we go crawling alot plus i could help get you some deals at a local shop if your new to this scale thing and wanna build one id say go with the scx10 kit, its something you have to put together yourself has a pretty lame body tho lol its 269$ish now if u wanna go buy a ready to run id go with the axail TR which is a ready to run scx10 but with some cool things like lights bumpers roll cage rock rails...its pretty sweet and there like 300$ which is in my mind the best way to go for a noobie |

i like the paint on that! and putting on the cheesey graphic along the side like almost EVERY tracker/sidekick i have ever seen before was a nice touch! and the hpi bumpers are great for using in a pinch for nice scale bumpers. i used one on the front of mine, too. |
