Boom! Lexan Hardbody I'm using: - SCX-10 - CS-170 for steerin - Novak Goat 18.5 combo First off, the stock wheelbase is all wrong: The width is all wrong too. Reality hit...this body is not suited for stock Axial axles. So I cut whatever rubbed. I bought two of these bodies so maybe I'll do something MRC-based later and some smaller wheels. I love round tube work, but when you look at 1:1 rock crawlin Nissans you'll find that most are built in the owner's backyard and tube and a bender is not really in the budget. Hence, there's not going to be any round tube on this thing. Hopefully I can find a local source for some box tube but so far no luck. Here's where it's at right now... I'm working on the floor and inner fenders right now. Obviously, this won't be a showpiece. It's almost like I bought a K5 and stuck a Nissan body on it. |

| Tghanks man ;) I'm painting all of the black details by hand without any masks. What a pain. Luckily I have two of these bodies. The mold on the front end of this one was messed up somehow so the 3 vents are going to look like ass. I didn't notice it until the paint went on... :? Anyhow, pics up tonight when I get done painting. If I get done. Tedious. |

I'm pretty good at many things...wiring stuff, fixing stuff, driving, picking up women, slacking...but I learned just now that I am not very good at masking off a lexan body. I was trying to do a 2 tone red and black job but I just couldn't mask it well enough on the inside. Rather than totally fark up this body, I might have done the most metal color scheme possible. Nathan Explosion would approve. I need to touch it up in a few spots but that's expected. This is the first lexan body I've painted. |

Who cares about the paintjob, its just gonna get the crap knocked out of it anyway Looks to me like the axial track width is a little wide for that body. Along with the wheelbase, or is that just me? Still looks cool though |
