AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME build! I love all the details!

Corse Stu, you realize that you are just a shade or two away from playing with a doll house with this? I mean technically it could be someones house....just no dolls...yet!

After a long day of styrene slinging, the XXX-SW is starting to take shape:

The hood was tricky. Trailing edge still needs work.

Some of the wood trim is missing, too

I used to have a 72' Mercury Montego 2 door. And this is an unbelievable thread!

Your an amazing styrene builder. Wish I was half that good.

Oh my lord, do you ever stop Stu? I think your sending to much time around that Plastruct solvent. Fantastic work on the wagon

More progress:

Headlights

I thought the hood was tricky, but this thing kicked my ass for about 4 hours.

A shot of Mexican chrome and it's looking good.

Cargo area. I'm tossing around the idea of a working tailgate. Maybe even the magic 2-way gate, we'll see.

Homemade Vintage tires for the front...

...but only 3 mags.

Drip rails and final skin on the roof corners

And of course a bashed-in quarter panel.

Do you ever sleep, or have you been doing this so long that you are building this in your sleep?

You work fast and are doing a killer job.

that thing is freaking sweet!. If it doesn't work out as a tow rig you could always sell it off for a Demo Derby car, I hear they love station wagons

Grille & bumper mocked up

Window channels

Pillars wrapped; it's amazing how much this stiffens up the assembly, and it cleans up the inside.

Mismatched door.
