Cool! Excited to see it. Scale RF builds are a rare breed!

Man Tumbler build is slow rolling again. Very busy at work plus I'm swapping the phase converter on a new mill.... the list goes on. Oh but Tumbler may have a brother soon - gonna build a 2 seater for another guy here.

Always felt that these RC4WD seats could be lighter so I cut all the webbing out and thinned out the wall thickness from the inside.

After capping off the back and bottom I mounted them w/screws through the floor board.

Also threw in a steering wheel.

Cut some holes for the headlights.

Couple more details and wiring and it should be "finished". Here's a short vid testing the new TSL's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xXRbXCpG1w
Couple more shots:

I was upset that you cut up the first chassis. But now I'm really glad you did. Your brazing is flawless, everything is symetrical. I love the wood floor, looks like a pain to install/remove. I also like the pintle. I've really never had place for Mogs, I changed my mind now.

Glad I could convert you into a mog fan. Yah in order to remove the wood floor it has to slide forward after hood, the front aluminum floor and seats are removed in that order. Good amount of tear down to access the motor but that's the price you pay for a scaler. Just glad I mounted the batteries in the side fuel tanks

Proline TSL's kept breaking beads on the Tango wheels because the wheel's inner ring flange could not properly grab the angled lip of the TSL's. So the rings went on the lathe to cut 45 degree angles on to them.
Ring on the left has been profiled, the right ring is stock.

This mod also makes mounting these tire & wheel combo alot faster - the bead seats perfectly every time.

The cap head screws on the axle/link strap were getting hung up way too often.

The straps went on the mill to be recessed for button head screws.

Button head screws sit closer to the axle and profile should slide off obstacles easier.

The Junfac shaft were limiting some travel on the front axle because the cup was bottoming out.

Trimmed all the cups back a bit.

Top one is trimmed and bottom is stock. Note the angle of the slip yoke - this made all the difference.

Pintle is close enough for now. May do a top latch later.

Slow moving vehicle triangle

Managed to tear up the T-Rex's pinion. I swear these axles arent even worth running without the "HD" internals. Gonna shim the crap out of the new ones.

Got a ridiculous deal on a fresh set of PL scaler shocks. Thanks Hobby Central, http://www.hobby101.com !

Gonna give these axles another chance and swap in all heavy duty internals. If those dont last then its onto something else...Axial or the Gmade portals. The PL shocks on it right now are practically dry inside- they developed a leak a long time ago and I neglected to fix them thats why I just got a fresh set.
