Default !! Hand Bros CMS kit Question !!

I have a SCX10 based Tundra truggy that Im looking to put a CMS kit on. My question is the Honcho has a WB of 12.3" as advertised by Axial, My rig has a 12.5" WB. If I buy the Hand Bros CMS kit for the Honcho is the 0.2" WB difference going to require me to bulid custom links or will i be able to get away with using the hardwear provided with the honcho CMS kit? Thanks in advance, Travis

it depends on how you stretched the WB. I believe the SCX runs 96mm links F&R and the Honcho runs the 108mm links. On the Tundra I built we just pushed the rearend back so the standard SCX kit would work. But if you pushed the front forward than I'd get the Honcho kit. I'm not sure about the stock hardware. Hope this helps

The 11.4" WB SCX10 uses 91mm links front and rear while the 12.3" WB Honcho uses 106mm links in the rear and 98mm links in the front. You should be able to simply add a couple of spacers to the Hand Bros Kit. You can use either 5mm or 6mm spacers because the difference wouldn't be much. I'll list inches to mm below.

.20" = 5mm
.24" = 6mm
