What do you guys think? No/Yes on the high lift jack?

I couldnt resist, I had to drive it so i threw in some electronics and off i went. I loved how the suspension carryed it across the rocks it was kinda bouncy. But the crappy axial electronics kept glitching so it was kinda hard to pick a line and go.

After a couple mins with crappy electronics

It did roll over due to me trying to turn into the down hill and it forze then went and cuased it to roll but no big damage, Just some small scratchs but i yelled like it was going to total it

IMO the hi-lift jack kills the look when mounted on the hood. But that's just me.
Once again great job on the build, glad to see you finally got it out there.

To clarify, your front suspension is 3-linked with no panhard bar, correct? How is the bump steer with this setup?

I was planning on making the same type steering box mounted outside the chassis to be able to keep my front 4-linked but minimize the bump steer with a cms. I never expected to find someone that had done similar, I was under the mistaken impression I had an original idea. :(

How do you think it would work on a 4-linked front?

Looks great.

The hood is not a very good spot to put a high lift, IMO. Is there room to put it between the spare and the rack on the back? Or standing up next to the spare? Just a thought......

Yes it is a 3-link or wishbone setup. And as for bump steer it doesnt have enuff to make it stand out and with the crappy electronics it kept jerkin around so i couldnt really tell. Sorry And it should work fine with a 4-link

After i put it up on the hood i tryed it on the back tire carrier but couldn't really find a spot i liked.

I guess its prob best to just keep it off

Looks good Ryan!

Try mounting it to the back of the back seat, that's how I had mine mounted in my old JK.

I just finished a custom bumper so I can appreciate how difficult it is. It was probably the most time consuming thing I did on the entire build.

Let me know what you guys think good or bad

Thanks man yeah it beats that little rc car he's use to driven And i was thinkin about making a new front bumper after i drove it the first and only time with the bad electronics but ill wait till i get it dialed in before i do that.

I started a new job working night shifts welding turbine engine parts with alot of over time so i dont have time to tinker on it like i use to but now i wont have to scrape up the coins like i did to get it to this point

Well I finally got to take my jeep out and run it.

Well we had a blast as you can see but i did manage to rip of my rear tire carrier and added some carnage to her. But over all she did better than i thought out on the trails.

Well after my first outing all the spraypaint on the bumpers and sliders scraped off. And i never did like the way my frame came out so i took it all apart and got everything powder coated.
