Default 6X6X4 crawler hauler

been working on my rig for about a month now and thought it was time to post up my progress.

initial mock-up

first link placement

it's a roller!

and the current set up for testing the suspension

the only thing I've done since the last pic is semi-droop the rear shocks so I have some down travel.

Nice start!
What body are you thinking of using? Like a DAF or MB cab-over in the front for the Dakar look?

Are you getting a different caseback for the second axle so you can tie it into the third axle, or using a 1:1 transfer case mounted above them?

going to try my hands with styrene and build a cab-over similar to this.

i tried a thru axle with my first tandem and didn't like it so went a different rout with this rig buy making a 1:1 t-case with 4 outputs you can kinda see the shaft layout here, to drive the RR axle I have the shaft going over the FR axle to a barring support then to the RR axle, this way I can have all 3 axle inputs clocked, it works well.

thats why the RR axle can steer it gives me ruffly a 3ft turn radius vs ruffly 6ft with just the front.
