Thanks guys. Well I got a little more done. Electronics installed and she is a runner. Going outside for a test run now.

I still need to detail it up a bit and of course finish the beadlocks but I am pretty happy with it!

How are you liking those coilovers? I've wanted to get some for a while but have heard from different people that they stick a bit. I just want them to make some King replicas.

They stick at first but once broken in they are sweet.

Thanks the color is growing on me. Has that "wet" look.

Thanks. Working on moving the servo next!

Ok so I'm still tweaking the rear suspension but it is pretty much dialed in.

A few outdoor pics.

AWESOME JEEP BRO !!!

I might've missed it somewhere...but did bonards design the bumpers too?

If not..I'd like to know who made them...I like them for my 1/9th TJ Build that I'm starting this week.

Also...on those shocks....take them apart...and remove 1 of the clear O-rings (the lower most/bottom one facing the outside of the shock)...and they won't stick anymore !!! I've done that mod to 3 or 4 sets of those shocks with success !

This rig is great and reminds me of lots of 1:1's that I've seen over the past few yrs....great work

GREAT JOB on the tires too....look like KRAWLER's...now...Sweet.

Bonards did not build the bumpers but he did a sick job on the cage/sliders. Bumpers are actually from RC4WD Tough Armor line. They worked well with the look that I was going for. Thanks for the tip on the shocks too!

Ok some updates and slight changes.

Here is a body off shot to show where I have the electronics mounted and the battery.

As you can see there isnt too much room to chassis mount the steering servo.

Here is a shot under the front bumper and electronics. I may be able to make a bracket and tuck it in there.

New rear body mount system. Tapped into the crossmember here and got rid of the velcro. Much more secure. Front still as velcro to align it and hold it in place. Works great!

I didnt want to put all the updates into one reply. Updates continued...

First off is windshield wipers.

With the new rear body mount system, I had to lose the rear seat

With the spare tire mounted to the heavy swing out, the rig was getting very back heavy with the cage and all. I made a new swing out for the rear bumper and added some lighter plastic stuff. A gas can, water can and a cooler.

Spare tire now sits where the rear seat was and is held down by a bungee for easy access to the body mount screws.

I vote for a driver, always seems to make the rigs look more scale with somebody behind the wheel.

And thanks for the info on the shocks, when I get some more money I might buy some.

I agree, it always look's better when there's someone at the wheel. I would choose a wild willy's drive (minus head) over a wrestling figure and day. He looks good behind the wheel
