The tubework looks good. This truck was already tough, it'll be invincible with the tubework now.
hahaha DAMN YOU. I really do not want to do an interior but I will LOL.

I came to the realization I have to go with something this route as our rocks just are not friendly towards hardbodies with lots of work into them.

Thanks Chris!

I've got extra half interiors here if you need one. Don't go out and pay full price from the lhs

Looks good. I was just cruising for some ideas and I really like your up and over bar closest to the cab and the light setup.

wellll this is what I managed to get done over the weekend. Not too too much but time consuming stuff. I cut my fenders down on a previous build to get the length of a k5 blazer, so to gain some length back I made a steel fender spacer which I bolt the plastic ones onto. I added a couple more lights and sanded some tabs off of a axial electronics box. I started on the front bumper and am not done yet with it. Not sure how to finish it up. I'll do some staring haha. I got rear shock mounts done aswell. Not sure if I will even bother with doing custom front shock mounts as I am still going to use the body posts. Atleast for now.

About the look I am going for.

Some added supports

Electronics box

A trick I thought of.... cut out the factory blower recess in the body, flit it over and gllue it in for a fill piece!

alrighty, got some more work done on her.

I did up a couple 4 link mounts. I want the axles to be as bare lookin as possible. Yes you can buy the brackets, but why buy when you can build em!

Hang some axles, build some 8-32 revo ended links and we get a truck...ish.

From the rear

Not a whole lot of articulation but what I wanted.

Yet some more work got done.

I started to install the electronics to see how everything will fit. Once done I took it for its first drive and must say I like how it works so far!! I just jammed the electronics in,...with a bunch of zipties and gaver. However we never took a camera with us. If we did I would have had some funny pictures showing "slowkrawl" being a meatball and driving his honcho off a 15+ foot mountain bike bridge in the trees haha.

Some electronics isntalled. I ran holmeshobbies brxl esc and I must say I am impressed thus far!!

Batteries fit on the rock slider/skid plates but are not pictured

Put some body panels on to make sure it all fit in there.

I pulled the truck apart today to add some braze to a couple joints, add some nuts for panels, finish my front bumper, the slot isn't the sexiest but I will be running a MSD fairlead ontop to cover it up. Should look gooood.

Roof panels will share a bolt hole with the light buckets
