Got a little bit done. Painted the rims black and added fronts to the rear of the rim so it is like the real thing.

Started sleeving the links.

Made a hook for my winch down and painted it up.

Real good idea of making your links using all thread.

IMO its the only way to go when building a rig from scratch as no matter how perfect you think you are... your links will have to be slightly different lengths.

I got the frame back from the powdercoaters. They botched it nicely. Runs like crazy, bubbles, blah blah. Wasn't impressed, wasn't impressed with how long it would take to redo it so I said screw it, give me a price break and I'll take it.

so I started to clean some of it up and jammed the skid plate in along with the axles and shocks.

I painted some stuff quickly to see how it would look. The paint is not done yet, and I will have a new bedsides on the truck fairly soon. I put the lights in and will have to go buy some LED's and wire that up. Once the servo drys from being plasti dipped I can then throw that in and keep on rolling on assembly.

honestly it was put on waaay too thick, then they hung it and it all went to the low end. Try not to mention it to him next time you are down there, I am going to deal with the problem as our families have known eachother for ages.

I'll get video in a couple months haha. We are covered in snow currently.

I snapped 2 more pics... One showing the side profile nicely and one showing me forgetting to mask the back of my headlights off. DOH! I'll have to find some new lenses now haha.

Did you have any problem mounting your tsl's to your rc4wd wheels? I am getting the same combo for x-mass!

No problem, just curious as I've always had good results using them.

This spring is going to be great. Everyone's going to have nice shiny new rigs to thrash on the trails

That does suck about the PC. I've done the same thing myself, trying to spray all the hard to get spots and end up putting it on too thick. And if it's too thick it will run. But like Ecoli said, you can't tell from the pics.

This rig is so sick! Awesome work. I think the TSL's look much better than the Rok Lox. Can't wait to see video and let us know how the PC holds up.

Tru3Racing, check the first post for your answer.
