R2J made me custom set of his Stainless steel links for the honcho. I bought BOWTIE's honcho cab. I also threw in Holmes hobbies waterproof BR-XL and just to try out Reedy MVP 24* stock motor in. I know the wiring is mess, Once I settle on motor it will get cleaned up. I scored these wheels. I also scored a set of 5 1.9 pitbulls. MThead made me up a set of rings too. |

It won't be cheap to do portals since you have to get 2 different sets.

Hey Eric, I know this might of been asked before but maybe I can ask again. What gearing is your portals? Im just asking to get an idea what your overall final gearing is. Not really sure what your running in the entire drive train. Also, from the side you would never suspect you have portals at all. Wheels look good and natural, like you could get some tire crinkle on them. What foams and weights if any are you running? And can you feel any stress in the portals running weights? Keep up the great work. Appreciate the info. |

High Speed - 36/16 = 2.25:1 Low Speed - 43/13 = 3.31:1 Portal - 16/10 = 1.6:1 Stock -> Portal = 4.8:1 Low -> Portal = 5.29:1 High -> Portal = 3.6:1 I have stock gearing in the rear and overdrive in the front. Spur is 87t and 16t pinion. Axial weight rings front and the rear are weighted, the weight are cut to fit in the groove and taped. I do believe the foams are stock. I haven't felt much stress, I haven't been babying my rig either. 8lbs and 4s. No problems so far. (knock on wood) I really wish they made portals for the wraith axles.
