I really like the uncluttered look of the back half of your truck. All business and no frills. I think Iam going to try and re-do mine for a cleaner look like you have. Mine is just too busy in the back, extra crap I wounldnt need if I paid more attention to driving and less to the scale points. Very nice.

Thanks. I would pull the stuff you don't use in comp. Or add tool box.

I bet adding bed side would help clean it up too.

The AXIAL 30* bent links are a perfect fit, or you needed to change something?

I took them off. They were hitting the upper links, binding up.

Nice work, Im really digging that steering set up. Looks like it works well. As for the box I think it would look good either way to be honest. Black would go with bed better I guess.

Thanks. The steering does work really good. I need to get longer servo horn to take full advantage of it.

I'm thinking black would look better.

Your honcho came out nice. I like the frontend. I would have done something like that if I had kept the claws.

what did you think about ease of mounting beads?
did they narrow your track? probly a little.

They were the easiest wheels to mount up. The beads just fell into the groove even if you had one side tighten down.

I'm not sure it did narrow up my track width, I'm running wideners on the front.

Wish I bought a set of these earlier.

X2....like the truck. Steering is great idea and also appreciate your detailed foam tuning help and all your build documentation.

Being the portal lover I'm. Wanted to give 3racing portals try.

I sent my axles to MThead to have him do some work.

He added stock Xr10 bearings and using 3racing lockouts. I also sent him Traxxas # 3637 axle shafts to replace the stock shafts.

Clean looking rear end. Just need to order R2J truss.

Me too. I hope they hold up.

If not, I will get set of R1 axles and narrow them down.
