Default new roll-cage for my trucktrial UNIMOG.

I just finished this rollcage for my unimog. its my first time trying to build one. its pretty simple and looks pretty much like the same way ive seen them done in Germany, i used brakeline and brazed it together. enjoy.ive also finished the mounting and cut the excess cage going threw the flat bed since the pics were taken.

Looks good, those trucks are just way to cool looking. One of these days I will have to build one for myself.

i know what you mean but thats how its done in germany and thats how the 1:1 trucks look. and i kinda wanted it to clear the snorkel. the roll cages in the european truck trial always look kinda rangy and not tucked in like the us offroad / rockcrawling rigs are.

well its a 1:12 scale truckmodellsport chassis. it has robbe axles that are locked. it has an fm reciever, im in the middle of doing a motor swap from a graupner speed 600 to a graupner speed480. because the 600 can is too long and doesnt let the servo line up with the corect servo holes in the chassis. i just finished the roll cage and im gonna make a triangular billboard with my restaurants name on it ( look at the other mogs i posted for an idea of what im mean. Ive order losi mini X aluminum threaded oil filled shocks for it but have not recived them yet. Befor any of this work i was asking 500 rolling and 600 complete with electronics. its a real rare bird over hear in the states. they cost like around 600-700 and up for a rolling rig if you want one from germany, they are really expensive but if you want something differnet and reall neat. you gotta pay or fab something up yourself. it has a 4:1 gear reduction unit on it. I think im gonna keep her at this point, but im open to any offers. Thanks for your interest and complements

Thanks for the info. I'm looking for something smaller. I thought it was closer to 1:18 or 1:24...
