he posted the link earlier in this thread: Project true scale - Aluminum Toyota body!

mm: are you picking up the little plastic pieces that break off of the lenses? or are you just leaving it to litter where you crawl? also, i really like how much realism you put into your truck.

That's in the plans. i need to cut the tube chassis off and put channel in to comply with the new rules so when i do that it will all get re-done including some tranny reconfiguration

Thanks for posting that. I pick up what I can find. sometimes the pieces are so small you just can't see them.

Well i had a little engine trouble. I knew the motor was getting hot when i would run it but one particular day in the snow i was really pushing it hard and fried her good! (a 14 turn mod motor in an 8Lb+ rig on a 3S LiPo might do that)

Not only did it get hot enough to melt the end bell, it melted the solder holding the brushes on as well!

Well as much as i like the wheel speed of the mod i decided to go with a 55 Turn i had lying around. Now it crawls more like a Yota.

PM me

I think that's my favorite part as well!

The vid isn't as good as the willys but good enough to post up when it's done.

A little anxious are we?!!! LOL!

Aw man that stinks! o well i guess that means we need to do it again!

Ok before i post the carnage pics i want to show some more poser shots.

A close-up of the paint

And my favorate

Now pics from the comp

First course

and the damage from the first course

course 2

damage after the second course

And a clear show of the real broken tail light!

now the hill climb

rolled it over the second time i went up trying to get some good vid

Then went out on a trail run after the comp and carnage ensued!

Now started the process of repairing the damage.

The passenger side came out pretty good

but the drivers door was just too far gone to keep

so i pulled the old one off

And made a trip to the junk yard to get another door

Finally i straightened the rear quarters

and put some new tail lights in that i picked up while in the junk yard.

Now I'm ready for some more wheeling!
truck looks good! that bridge do you know the specs on it???? im planning a crawler course and this would look pretty sweet... im sure i could find a place for something like that... haha.

It's been a while but i got some more carnage to report

Took it out and beat on it hard and really did some damage

then after a quick fix i ran some more and really put a hurting on it!

now the worst of it!

but after a few minutes work it was all fixed and ready to roll again

Enjoy!
