So what's the verdict on the PB's and Vanquish wheels?

In the pics, looks like the middle pic has Boggers on it. Which are you going with and how do you like the Boggers?

2 weeks or so to go, can't wait to hang with you all!

PB's and VP wheels work great together, the VP wheels really hold bead well. As for what tires, who know.....a lot is going to change before the 27th.

Wow..only two weeks to go, crazy!....we need to get some beers again too.

Wow man that's a wicked build! I was juggling between two styles, either a southern buggy tuber or a D90 king of the hammer style and this rig made my choice clear!! D90 king of the hammers it is. Awesome

Did you use the stump humper in this rig and if so what did you use for gearing and was it getting hot or staying cool

I ended putting that Stump humper in my C3 Chevy. Does good at slow crawling and almost has too much horse power! I approve of the motor.

Very cool rig Justin, never saw this before now. Got your link from the Locked up RC axle thread. It brought me back to a memory so bare with me, totally random here....

So yeah, post 102, I have some custom chromo rear shafts in my 1:1 that have twisted splines similar to those, not bent though, just twisted at the splines. I noticed this after running them for just a few months, had to do a ring and pinion. I called the company "Dutchman" who made them and they said it was common in drag cars and the splines just "take a set" and then the stop "setting" and its all good. I never have broken them so I guess they were right. I have gone through 2 full sets of Yukon chromo front shafts that have just busted right at the splines where they go to the locker and you can see they twisted and then broke, they didn't survive the "take a set" break in period I guess

To this day I have a little busted chunk of 35 spline chromo in the dodge door pocket as a reminder to ease up a bit and not drop the hammer.

I like old rigs that morph over time.... I have had lots of new stuff come and go but the one I built myself is always the best one.

Nice rig and good to see it is still being used

Awesome rig you have here, just wondering why you went from brushless to brushed?
