**Class 1 Dingo**

Seems that I also needed a Class 1 rig and after a few conversations with Rodney and Norm about different Class 1 options. I decided, like Norm, to use a Dingo body. Now I have to admit, this was one of my least favorite bodies. But after working with it now I really dig it."thumbsup" Not sure if I'll redo the cage with metal just yet, but if I do. I think I'll use tubing instead of my normal solid rod. It will make it easier to mount back in the stock location since those screws double as my door panel mounts too.

Thanks Matt! I'll have to post some progress pics tonight. I installed the rest of the grill and some lights."thumbsup"

Small update. Went to Radio Shack over the past weekend and picked up some lights. Found some red and amber lights for the rear. The leans is 7mm and they mount with and nut from the back. Also they are 12v. Got the rest of my grill installed and made up the head lights.

LOL! Yep, had Bowtie at Ultimate R/C make me up some subs, mids and amp decals for the hell of it. Should build me a audio encloser and amp rack for it."thumbsup"

Well it's still a work in progress, but got it done enough to run in our scale series yesterday. Overall works really good but could use a lot more wheel speed. Think I'm going to swap the R2 for an Axial trans. But other than finishing it up that's it.

Action shot thanks to RPMJ!

Chris does limited runs of his parts so he prefers you to sign up on his mailing list to get updates when he doing a run. Pre-orders basically. Here's the link to his web page.

Thanks Shon, I need to stop looking in your threads! Whenever I exit out of them I end up spending money. :lmao: Thanks for the hook up today.

Is it amazing that these dingo's were so not wanted until class 1 was developed. looking good shon. whish I would of been able to do the Tomb raider with aluminum, but way too much bends and shapes. Gotta love styrene.

Small update."thumbsup" Ordered up one of RC4WD's new SCX-10 CMS kits to try out since it mounts the servo on the right side like I needed. Very nice piece, machining and fit is good. Since it is just the CMS I went ahead and fabbed up a prototype truss with panhard mount and three link. Also built the frame mount tab for panhard bar. Took a little bit of trial and error to get the steering link and panhard bar to the right length(really the time was spent looking in the junk box for the right links:roll::lmao:) It's all pretty close fit since I like to use Axial high clearance knuckles, but it works great! My next step is to fab up some 1/8" stainless rod for the links to give it a cleaner look."thumbsup"
