It has been sitting for awhile until a week ago. I got extremely busy with summer courses and other work. I have added a couple things, but most importantly is I got rid of the mini crusher axles, and am now finishing this for a member on this board.

It has VMG axles under it and TLT shocks. I am looking for a gear reduction, then finish out the tube work, repaint (stripped it off to add tubes) and wait for gear reduction so I can finish it and send it off to the new owner.

I will get some updated pics here in a little, Im pretty happy with it so far.

Got a couple pics with the VMG axles under it. Lower links are on, I made the mock-up uppers but they are not in the pictures as I was stripping it down to finish/add some tubes and a tranny mount and the reciever mount.

And forgive the nasty tubes, I stripped the paint MOSTLY off to add some more tubes. The paint earlier was to see if the colors matched good enough and will be repainted for the guy that is going to get this thing once its done. Hopefully have a couple more pictures up in a couple days with it mostly done/maybe running. Wheels will also be cut down and painted so they dont stick out so bad.

Hows it looking?

Riverdude,

sorry it took me awhile to answer your question. I would say that, that tuber, cost me between 65-75 dollars to make. That of course is not including the cost of the Nylint that I had to get the Jeep grill and hood.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the comments. The sad thing is its not being time consuming to build or complicated, its just my lack of time with work and school. But I am trying to have it running tomorrow/Friday, then dissassembled and painted ready to ship out Monday so I should have some new pictures soon.

Few updates. I made a tranny mount, lengthened the driveshafts and finished the suspension. Hooked up the stock VMG electronics to make sure there was no binding.

Should have pics soon. Still need to finish:
Steering, mounts and links
Redo Tranny crossmember
Build a tray for electronics, mount

Then take apart, paint and run the piss outta it. Will get some pics soon for yall of suspension, tranny mounts, etc. Should see alot of updates shortly.

Here is a side shot of Gregs Buggy from a week ago.

The buildup pics of this rig can be found on the Mud Devils website. http://muddevils4x4.com/index.htm

Nice job on the scaled down version. You need to come out to one of our get togethers.

Brando, do you run with the Muddevils? If so which rig is yours? I am selling off most of my rigs right now to fund my buggy build (4.2L on pane, auto, dana 300 twin stick, 4.1's. 60's, 4.56s, lockright/spool, 4linked rear) and once I get her all buttoned up I will def come out and meet yall up on a trail. I dont think you live too far from me either, next time Im in town we'll have to meet up if I still have a rig together, I live of Mallard Creek, 5min from the speedway.

You are right next door guy, I live in Cabarrus Crossing right of 73. I don't have a 1:1 rig yet. I have been working on my wife pretty hard. I want to build something. Madmonk (Scott) from the Mud Devils invited us up to there last ride. A few of us brought our RC rigs up to the Playground. We crawled a little but spent most of the time watching the 1:1 rigs. They had a huge group when we went up.
