Aight well I got a good update worth posting. Suspension is done, 3-links f/r. Got the servo mounted in the best place for it to operate steering smoothly and not take away too much articulation. Then I got the tranny skidplate made and mounted up, fits good in the cab of the rig. Check the dimple died holes in the skid plate, oh yea. Whatcha think? Any thoughts Jeff? |

Had some time between classes so I made up a body panel. Its getting to the point where its really getting close to being finished, and the majority of parts left are to make the rig look like the real one. Let me know what ya think of the panel. Last edited by 93yjpiece; 10-04-2006 at 01:58 PM. |

Well I made a shelf in the rear of the buggy for a reciever once the electronics are upgraded from the stock VMG's. And finished the other body panel. They look good to where the panels dont extend more than halfway up any of the tubes to keep the edges straight and once painted that feature will stick out. Also the rear shelf was dimple died and no part of the shelf is visible from the back of the chassis while its sitting on the ground. Enough blabbing, what do yall think? Next pics should have the chassis painted, maybe tomorrow if I get some time. |

RED is my favorite color of all. That tuber turned out better than I thought. NO doubt that this is one of the nicest nylint hybrid trucks i've seen. Keep up the good work.

Got the panels painted, think they came out alright. All that is left now is to put all the electronics in, put in the driveshafts, and run her. What do yall think? The bare chassis looked like shat because I didnt like the first paint job I did awhile ago and I lit it on fire, and that dirtied up all the tubes. Hopefully it looks cleaner all painted. |

Thanks for the comments. Right now I do not have time really to build another chassis, as I have 3 projects I am trying to complete for myself, plus another build for a friend of mine. But if I have time in probably 2 monts I could do it then, but I will have to get a vendors star to support this BB more. |
