Nice! Now all you need is a PicoSwitch from Dimension Engineering. They make stuff mainly for RC helicopters, but the PicoSwitch would allow you to turn on and off the headlights through a third channel. I have one for my scale build I'm working. http://www.dimensionengineering.com/PicoSwitch.htm |

Thrid channel is already taken with the winch. But, I guess I could hook a Y up as the winch is shut off or armed on with on off switch. Winch liked to spool in hardcore and go up in smoke while the Spektrum reciever was attemping to find a signal, so I added the switch. The lights run off 3 AA Batteries in the back seat. Sort of takes up a lot of room. I wonder how low a castle BEC can be programed to. Thinking maybe I can use the BEC as the power supply. I guess I could also go with a resistor setup to the Batt plug on the reciever. Thinking about some of those fog lights from Stefan (German Cherokee guy). They would maybe look better then those hollow toy ones I currently have. Jim and I picked up some fake speakers for his truck on our way back from moab. Need to work on door panels, and get rid of the green internal roof. |

Shoe Goo is the chit! Strong, flexible and can be removed. Just tack the window in with a little CA and then use your finger to coat the whole inside area around the window to body. Last edited by Natedog; 01-13-2008 at 09:21 PM. | |

SAS maybe? I don't know I have several tiny 1.9's in my stable at this point. Jims drives this thing like no other, it's super capable in stock form. This is the only Toyota body I have seen of this generation of pickup. |

What an awesome build. Mnster, what material did you use to make the bed mat/liner? I think Jim needs to fix those bedsides: |
