Default Boosteds Ridiculux redeux

I struck a deal with an Oregonian buddy of mine and landed this:

The Ridiculux.
He received it like so:

He added a couple down tubes, a light bar, relocated the spare and after crushing the a pillars he built the interior cage for it.
This is how I received it.

It was built to meet the bare minimum requirements for class 2. The body has been narrowed .75", boat sides, also meets the width requirements. She's low slung and narrow but still incredibly stable. And already has a couple podiums under it. The most recent was 2nd in the Mary s. Young g6 in Oregon.

I tore in today and completely disassembled it, I will be adding a few things to the chassis, and switching a few things out. I have a decent sized shopping list for this one. Plans are to have it done and ready for the KOH g6.
Updates to follow as soon.

Still bouncing around paint ideas..
Any decents ideas? I'm almost just ready to call it good with white body and black tube work

Thanks Ryan I was at the paint section today with gunmetal, and I couldn't make a decision. I just laid down some white primer as a base and hit the chassis with flat black for the time being. I'm gonna throw it together and see which direction to go from there. I need to make sure I have any and all brackets done I hate having to strip a rig to weld on a bracket or two. So this will probably go through 1 or 2 mock up stages before final paint. I'm considering dig and possibly rear steer for g6 events. I know these aren't allowable in class 2 but I need to see if its possible to run if these functions are locked out for scale events whether it's in hooking from the receiver or actually disconnecting the linkage

Definitely liking the changes. Paint is always a tricky choice. I debate it for days and then usually get impatient and start painting with whatever I grab.

I know I'm a little biased, but this might be in if the better paint jobs I have done on a hard body. No orange peel, nice deep color. I'm diggin it. Just wish the color popped in the pics as much as it does in person.

Not a huge purple guy either but let's face it, this color is iconic.
Thanks Ryan.

Interior fitted back in to make sure it'll accommodate the motor, and to see where I want to mount the electronics.
