Thank you! Ive always done my rigs with brakeline. I havent weighed it yet but i tore it apart tonite for paint its pretty light thats for sure.

Other than moving the bar behind the headlights i think this thing is ready for paint. I was going to put a couple of bars across the back but that makes it tough to get the interior out any ideas?

venom-crawler 03-24-2011 10:02 PM

Heres a couple of shots from a carshow last weekend. Ive read on here people dont like how the claws work. I havent had a problem with them they hook up great. I tore the truck back down added and changed a few bars around. Tonite a took it to a buddys and blasted the cage going to try and get it into paint tommarrow.

I use a lincoln 120 welder from my work.

sweli 03-26-2011 07:32 AM

NICE!

Like the curves around the fenders and dropped door lines!

Steel or alum tubing?
I see perf'd alum panels. If you used steel tubing, did the perfed alum braze well to it?

Great looking rig!

thunder7845 03-31-2011 08:28 PM

Any paint on this beast yet?

Thanks! The cage is steel tubing. I used shoe goo to hold the panels onto the cage.
