Default Jk buggy

Heres a little project ive been working on for a local koh event. Sorry ive never been one for taking step by step pics. Thinking white skins with gunmetal cage.
Let me know what u think
Parts list:
scx frame cutoff back end
stock shocks half droop
axial axles and trans
19 turn kamodo dragon
sidewinder esc
castle bec
9100t servo
nb jk hood narrowed
proline interior
3/16 brakeline for the cage

Thank you! Ive always done my rigs with brakeline. I havent weighed it yet but i tore it apart tonite for paint its pretty light thats for sure.


Other than moving the bar behind the headlights i think this thing is ready for paint. I was going to put a couple of bars across the back but that makes it tough to get the interior out any ideas?

Heres a couple of shots from a carshow last weekend. Ive read on here people dont like how the claws work. I havent had a problem with them they hook up great. I tore the truck back down added and changed a few bars around. Tonite a took it to a buddys and blasted the cage going to try and get it into paint tommarrow.

Nice!! Skins look great on there. The mesh up front, is that from the dollar store style trash cans?

Thanks im making some new ones that fit better and i might go with a thinner aluminum. The aluminum mesh i got from a buddy who got a couple of sheets from scubadaveior back in the day

Like the curves around the fenders and dropped door lines!

Steel or alum tubing?
I see perf'd alum panels. If you used steel tubing, did the perfed alum braze well to it?

Great looking rig!

Thanks! The cage is steel tubing. I used shoe goo to hold the panels onto the cage.

Yes there is! Took it out today for a little gtg we had. Ill post some more pics up later when camera is charged

i like the zuk truck in the back ground whats with the white i wood hav used orange haha crazy truck works to good 4 a scaler though

Thanks Thomas. The zuk in the back isnt that good he had to use 2.2s on it to keep up with the two jeeps!
