Where did you source the light buckets, and which Bronco body is that? I'm seriously considering doing on myself can't help but love 'em.
The light buckets are from the Axial light bucket set

The only thing I did was take some transparent red paint to the lenses.

Its actually orange white and blue, like a Bill Stroppe Baja Bronco. They were made between 71 and 73.

I normally have better reading comprehension than that. I'll blame it on the cold I have and the effects of Nyquil... lol

Drink a whole bottle and see if you can jerk it before you fall asleep, you win every time haha. I used to have a friend in high school that did that... he will never live it down

Got some parts in. DH fab front and rear bumpers. They look awesome and fit the body nice

Also its about time to think about tires. Here are my choices......

I am thinking the proline TSLs or the 1.9 rock crushers will be the right size.

The paint scheme is nice! This is turning out to be a very nice build.

I have had the most fun with this than any other, I did a YJ on a RC4WD chassis that was awesome but this is more to me because its something I had and lost

Thumbs up

Just for reference here's what a box-stock honcho looks like with the Bronco body sitting in place on 1.9 flat irons. It's just sitting on the body mounts in this pic but the front bumper wouldn't let it sit even.

I'm subscribed to this build! I really like the bumpers and I saw R2j had a great idea on his XJ build for body mounts/sliders...after a search he used that same mount on the RCC Holiday giveaway Bronco as well.

Wow, really nice '71! It's a shame you had to let it go. And I'm glad to see your '75 is getting new life. I like the direction you're heading with this one and I can't wait to see more updates. For your tires, I'd go with 1.9 Swampers or the Mud Thrashers.

Thanks for the reference. I stuck the body on my Honcho the other day but with 1.9 iroks the tires are WAY to tall. Seeing this with the flat irons is really awesome!

I think I have the Proline Swampers picked out, ill see what the hight looks like with the Thrashers.

I was going to use them but the stance was off, could just be me

Now all that is left is to wait for the wraith to get to my door so I can steal the ESC from it and put it in here. (the Wraith gets a mamba max pro)

Hey Jason if you are looking for another tire option I have a full set of Two Faces with spare. Not sure of the size compared to the Rock Crushers.

They are taller, and would fill the wheel well all the way
