Default The Tuna Tunnel

I'll call it TT for short.

Decided to build a new rig. I have been pretty entertained by my Hilux named Scuba Tank, but wanted something with better approach and departure angles.

RPMJ talked me into a Tundra truggy after having me check out the Goldeneye build, so with some creative liberties and my own flair I started bending some solid rod.

Here is were its at so far.

Wheelbase is right at 12.5", Belly clearance is about 2.5", axles are Axial with metal 3 racing housings, handbros steering, traxxas links, mod'd max shafts, axial tranny,... basically everything that was on the Wyld Stallyn Bronco, while that is under the knife.

Should have all the metal work done tomorrow.
And hopefully have the lights all done this week, so far there are 16 working lights going on this rig.

Thanks for looking,
Ty

I like the looks of this.

Are you not going to put your EB back together? I'm pretty sure those are the axles from it.

Thanks Todd, yeah its everything from the EB. The EB will go back together at some point, but Im struggling with a few things I didn't like and am still not sure what to do about it.
So instead I thought it would be easier to just build a new rig.

Tuna Tunnel, sounds pretty tasty. Is it like a Bacon Explosion log, or olive bologna loaf or something? Meatloaf maybe?

Thanks, you might be in a small club, but some just maybe converted.

I finished up the rear end and started sanding it down today. Got most of the front bumper done as well, I will hopefully have time to finish off the tube work and snap some photos this week.

Thanks guys.
Ty

He does still offer these. He is actually making me a new custom set as I write.
He has a thread here that lists all the different rings he makes plus where to get the fancy hardware:
Delrin Beadlock Rings!!! (Axial, VP, Mayhem, TSS and others!)
