lookc very good. the supports on the side rails should be straight up instead of angled that would be right on target scale wise. still looks really good though. hehe...badger.

if I was going to do a totally scale look of the 1:1 I would have done the front exactly the same too, but I guess you didn't notice that, not to blow smack, but did you see the full tuber instead of the frame rails as well. when I do a build the customer and I decide what would be the best way to do the build around. I kinda go off what pic's they give me then I do my own thing. I could of went off the 1:1 to a T, but it's not my style. I like to change things a bit to fit my style of how I build things. thanks glad you like it Last edited by spyderwebbcustoms; 05-28-2011 at 04:40 PM. |

I took a couple of outside pictures at the Texas Finals. I finish wiring it all up today and drove it around the yard to test it out. I need stiffer springs but everything is working like it should. Still got to work on detailing a little but its ready for action! |

I got around doing a little work on this thing today. I installed a set of lights I won in a Giveaway from KC_JoNeS (thanks bud!). and finished wiring everything. Not the cleanest job but it fits well with room to spare for the battery. And some outdoor pics: |

The Mog got its first real test this weekend when I took it to a local Comp. After the very first run I gave it before the Comp, I was a little dissapointed with the performance. I was running Proline Powerstroker shocks @ 90mm. Before this Comp I changed them for Bigbore 4 inches and losi whites front, gold rear. I thought it was a little soft in the front so I placed some spacers to adjust the preload. I could notice a big improvement after running the first course but went ahead and removed the spacers. This thing did amazing in the second run! the suspension is spot on. To my surprise, this thing is awsome on sidehills and the climbing is superb. The FXR still needs to be smoothen out as the accelaration is abrupt and it cost me big time in the course. The steering also needs some love but I have a pretty good idea on how to make it work. I put this thing for sale and got very little interest, I am so glad I didn't get rid of it! Can't wait to tweak it and get back on the rocks! By the way, I got a 3rd place in the Comp, I will be back Corey! Here are some pics courtesy of Stang_Killa! Comp Thread HERE |

I worked a little on this thing today. I installed VP knuckles, re-did some links and re-enforced the styrene. The VP knuckles gave it some crazy steering, exactly what I was looking for but the offset on the wheels didn't work with the ZeroAkerman knuckles. I had a set of CAC wheels laying around and swaped them for the hummer wheels. Different look but I like the change. Last edited by Oso787; 06-24-2011 at 07:43 PM. |
