Jeremy's 1.9 Truggy

This project has been sitting on my shelf for several years now.

It had no hope of ever getting finished.......until now."thumbsup"

Ripper77 started building a Yota truggy of his own and I couldnt leave him without any competition at our local scale events. I never knew what I wanted for the back of this truck until I saw the awesome tubework that MG200 has been putting out lately.

The K2 chassis was replaced with some SCX rails and the old pede tranny was replaced with an AX10 version.

The truck seemed to run nicely with this setup

The only issue I had was the terrible approach angle....so some larger tires were in order. Add some paint and we are left with it's current state:

I will be running this truck in a G6 style event this weekend with the ETXRCC guys....we'll see how it does!"thumbsup"

This truck did really well at the ETXRCC G6 Event last weekend at the Crawler Innovations Compound. The course took most folks more than three hours to finish and I'd say about half the pack that started the course did not finish. Anyway, here are some pics:

Thanks Eddie! This truck is a blast to drive! Yeah, you just let us know when you recover from the last event and are ready for the next one. You know I'll be there!

Nice little rig you got there, do your boggers work better after you cut them.

Thanks Ricky, and hell yes they do! I also shaved off the rib down the centerline of the tire on the inside. "thumbsup"

My cut boggers work pretty good too. I have yet to shave all the internal ribbing, that should help out.

Southern_racer 05-21-2011 07:19 PM

Truck looks great, looks to perform very well also.

I just did that rib down the center of the tread....I think with the small cut lugs it helps let the larger lugs fold over a bit.
