Default Go Slow YJ build

I finally had a chance to get this build started thanks to a sweet deal with one of the vendors of the site. It has been in my plans for a while but it always found itself bumped by another project. The plan is to make a Class 2 comp rig (the "Silver Bullet Taco" now sits on 2.2's") that resembles this sweet rig:
Build for the 1:1 ( http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=829346 )

Components include:
Tamiya YJ body
Losi axles
Proline Powerstroker shocks
RC4WD 1.9 wheels
Tires- Pitbulls
HH ESC
CC BEC
Servo Hitec7955tg
servo winch

Stay tuned!

I hope I'm not doing anything wrong by using this rig for inspiration.

Time to start working on this bad boy! Got a little some thing special going on for tube work. When Hugo and I started the planning stage of this build, it was decided it had to be lite weight. So since I don't like using brake like for my builds, I went with something that was both strong and lite weight. So naturally it had to be 3/16" Chromoly tube. Stay tuned! More to come!

Yep! I have some on back order at Horizon, since they will be distributing them, I figured why not.

Man, not much left of that $45 body....huh! Still need to trim up to the bottom of the doors and add a little on the grill by the headlights.

I'll have to get a pic of it tomorrow. I found it on the bay and yes compared to the solid rod I use, it is very expensive. But using it was the only way to have the integrity of the solid rod and have it lite weight like brake line.
