Still waiting on the TLT kit to arrive, but the frame is done. The rear bumper is done and waiting to be mounted. The front bumper is next and then the full exo. I plan on a stinger style rear tire carrier, and possibly a stinger on the front.

That frame is Awesome! You defintiely build some killer frames I look forward to the exo and custom front bumpers. The Geos look like a good scale size as well, nice job Mike |

Got the axles in and the suspension/steering done. Starting on the front bumper next.

This ones been collecting dust long enough. Now that school has slowed a bit I will be jumping back on this. Next on the agenda is getting the front bumper going.

It's bolted right to the frame rail with TLT servo mounts.

Got to work on the front bumper, pics show a step by step of how I build a steel bumper. Starting with cutting the old bumper from the grill I lay it on the sheet and trace it for a starting point. The rest of the pics tell the story from there. I will hopefully get to finish this up on Thursday.

Hopefully I will wind up with something like that. Maybe with a stinger, but I haven't decided yet on that. Nice runner, BTW.

Bumper looks AWESOME! I was really looking forward to custom 4runner bumpers that Twisted has built(bought his 4runner) but the fawkin PO lost the truck :-( I was mad that I didnt do a custom front bumper on mine, cant do anything about it now because I would have to re do the exo BTW 4RunnerKid your 1:1 is badass |
