| PROJECT: "My First Hilux"...TRUGGY
Well since i grew tired of building Jeep LJ's i decided to try Yotas. This is my first hilux build and let me say, im hooked! I decided to make my first build a truggy. What do you guys think so far? When mocking up the tubing i was looking at it from the back and to me it looked good. Then i turned it to its side and now im undecided cause of the top tubes that slant downward. What do you all think? I want to know now before i add all the bracing tubes. Should i redesign it or leave it. I appreciate all feedback, good and bad. Thanks. Dont know if you will be running them but I really like that wheel tire combo for some reason. Tube work looks great IMO but I see what you are saying about flattening out the top.

Yup! Good eye man! Its the last LJ that im building. Time to move onto other rigs. Its 1.55 based and its a replica of the 1:1 ROKMEN FREAK build. Ill post up pics of it soon. Its just waitimg on tlt axle parts. Im too poor to pick up some k44's so tlt' will fit the bill till i pony up amd get some "scalier" axles. Its basically an extended wheelbase jeep with a half cage. Not a brute though.

Heres a quick update regarding the rear cage. I hope in your guys eyes, it looks better. I know for me it does. What do you all think? I think the spare will be mounted behind the cab standing up or i can have it laying down towards the rear of the bed. |
