So the super swampers don't clear mud very well. Plus I got home and found I have a few seized bearing which I don't think was from the mud but it expedited the failure. So took the front end apart and am now waitin for bearings that folks were nice enough to point me towards AVId bearings. Now I know why folks have more than one, so when one truck breaks and waitin for parts they can go get their other one.

Sweet rigs, tasteful with the eye candy in the beginning LOL. try socking your bearings in oil, shake em spin em and should free them up. Is your tranny housing made by horizon hobby? How's it holding up for you?

I need to find some bearing lube. I tried soaking my bearings in pb blast and it seems that the oil didn't hold in the bearings well at all. I may try out that tranny casing, if u ever have an issue with it post up because I'd like to know about it.

Got my bearings in from AVID. Pretty sweet. did the rear as well and put the aluminum axle covers on as well. No pics of the new bearings as I got anxious and intalled them quickly. Now just waitin on the new lower links and a traxxas waterproof servo.

for waterproofing, have you heard of plasti dip? I recently took a CS170 servo and submerged it and temporarily ruined it. Got home, took it apart and revived it but re installed it using plasti dip. Its a liquid that is used to insulate tools but you can put just about anything into it and it will completely cover it and seal it. But once I got my servo and other electronics, I fear no water lol. Avid bearings are pretty good, I went to my local hobby store and picked up BOCA bearings and damn those were expensive for a couple lol.

Thats looking pretty good man. I know the whole waiting for parts in Japan is a pain in the ass. I was down in Oki for 2 years, but found a really nice hobby shop down there.
