It's builds like this that are inspiring. It just makes me want to go out to the garage and start grinding some metal.

GREAT JOB!!!!!!

What type of pump will you be using? And second ? Is what type of control valve will you use to control direction and speed? I work on hyd on helicopters for the usmc.

Anyway just showed this to my coworkers and all they could say was wow! I'm highly impressed. This is a new chapter in the scale crawling world. Hats off to you!

Ah a hydro expert! Glad to hear it - now I know who to go to for help cuz this is all new to me Right now Im planning a slave/master setup to reduce weight/foot print of the hydro system. So no pump or spool valve.

Got some rod ends made from some stainless (burrs galore in this photo)

With that, the links were cut and cylinder mounted to the axle via an aluminum bracket. I really like the look of the wraith axle without the massive bolt on truss (more realistic) so I want to omit that part, front and rear axle. Upper link mounts will have to be made but more on that later.

short clip will be up soon(uploading).
now back to waiting on some Vanquish axle parts and looking for some proper wheels

That setup is plain awesomeness!! I like the idea of the slave setup. As you shouldn't need a reservior either. The fact that you made I micro hyd cylinder still amazes me!

That thing is over the top! I can't wait to see the rest of the system and how it'll be mounted on the rig!

Front/rear upper link mount out of 7075

The mounts are angled to address the angle of the links hopefully an improvement over the stock/horizontal orientation of the stock truss. The angled orientation gives these robust RPS links plenty of clearance. The top/center of the link mount will be drilled and tapped later for a center mounted limit strap.

Axle is so much cleaner looking without that chunky plastic truss. The new mounts should blend right in once powedercoated black. Now to do something about that biomechanical looking diff cover

Wow, such detail, that thing is gonna be incredible. Are those made to allow the stock truss to go back on? Looks like it might fit.
