Default Mercedes ML " Jurassic Park "

Last Year, www.Rockcrawler.de made a build contest called - " Official Car ".

So the competition was to build a 4x4 Vehicle that really exists !


I was thinking " what could i build " for about 3 weeks. Than it was clear - The Mercedes ML from " Jurassic Park 2 " .

The decision was - that it`s surposed to have an exelent offroad driveability.

At first I started with body modifications:

cutted the roof off


some mods on the side

Nice sliders!

Looks like you trimmed the rear fender a little. Did you trim the front as well?
Going with 1.5s or 1.9s?

The lines around those fender wells are begging to be trimmed up.

@ sweli : Fenders are trimmed at front and back to make the 1.9s fit well.

wow, good work, I really like the idea and can't wait to see it complete!

I always loved the jurassic park vehicles, now you need a budy to to up a ford explorer like in the first one.

nice work man!!!! to bad you didn't have abit smaller tires, the 1:1 looks a fair bit smaller than the fender radius.
