Default Nissan baja inspired rock racer

So I dont see many nissan trucks for builds, so this is going to be my scale version. I like the older vintage style hardbody nissans but it has to be plenty capable. Here are pics for inspiration and my start.


And the Crawler portion of it...


And my start...


80mm dual spring shocks with Vp mounts to make it taller



I think I am going to change to the powerstroke shocks but we will see.

Dude!!! That totally reminds me of going to see stadium trucks when I was a kid!! Ivan Stewart and Mickey Thompson ruled!!! I remember painting my first rc truck that color, it was an old tyco bandit. Love those old cheap rc's!!! Awesome truck!!!

Thats funny you say that, I had the tyco baja bandit and drove it till a wheel fell off. Mixing some old with new.

I dont think those 80s are going to give you the performance you want Anthony. haha

anyway ill be watching this build progress. hopefully you and I can get finished around the same time we can go out for some test and tunes

Yea thats why I said I may end up going back to the powerstroke dual springs. I am still undecided on wheels and tires. I am really leaning towards these wheels though.
