Getting rid of the weight on the top will help with balance. Then you might have more fun enjoying it rather than worrying about it tipping. I say try it out. ![]() |

Real nice build! I bought my D90 from Peter on ebay and the rc4wd gelande chassis. It was to be my summer project then my wife broke her ankle, I bought an Axial Ridgecrest (my current project) and the D90 sits in its box waiting. And waiting... I appreciate you (and others) describing your build process and driving experience. Cheers, Todd |

lol no prob. This so far has been my favorite and most exciting/ scale build. It took along time to get it right but now that it is it is alot of fun. Sadly i dont get it out as much as I would like, but I am very proud of it every time i see it. When you pull out the d90 let me know i would love to see the progress of the build. An i would be more then happy to share any advice that I can. | |

When I start my D90 I'll definitely do a build thread! One thing I do know about my D90, the color will be AA Yellow w/white roof... that's all so far. My normal running spot has been taken over by the local University. They are doing a massive project with he creek system. It's been beneficial for crawling but not the creek running I was enjoying - oh well. The trails behind our house lead to a park with real nice hiking trails, but aren't real fun to take the RC (wide trails and too few obstacles to forge) Cheers, Todd |

So, after running the jk body for a long while, I want to move the d90 back on the scx10. (i got a cc-01 yj recently as well) Im thinking of taking the d90 and cutting off the top and making an open top safari d90, with the roof rack on it. I will also repaint it with a different paint scheme. Not sure yet, if i get some reference photos i will post, havent found any with a similar look to what I want yet.

Hello I haven't noticed if you cut the inside to fit the axial transfer box, did you get the cut? I say this because it seems that the body is a little high compared to the chassis, on this photo... ![]() For the rest everything is very good, nice project!! |
