| lowslowTJ builds a comanche x-trail
TCS x-trail Chassis Proline 2 piece Comanche body from TCS 3-link front 4-link rear 1.9 Rock Lox CAC onenine 6-spokes Novak 18.5 crawler 20/87 gearing Vanquish DIG Vanqish Zero Ackerman angle knuckels (on order from TCS) Axial CVD axles AX-10 alloy front shocks set with 50% droop 50% compression SCX-10 alloy rear shocks Hitec HS-7955TG steering servo Maybe a 3 racing winch? or two? Custom bumpers, roll cage etc by lowslowTJ Custom HD 3/16s steel solid steering links by lowslowTJ Inspired by many RCC builds old and new (here are a few: etc..) I am re-building and modding my Juggernaut X-Trail (called Verne's cheater rig by Bmuzz) into a Comanche. Here is what it was: Here is where it is now: I cut the bed up and cut the hood out of the body: I am gonna build an internal cage and mount the bed sides around the cage. not sure if I am gonna dovetail it or not. WOW!!! Glad the Courier could bring some inspiration...but I can safely say, judging by what you have already done...your Jeep will be in a class WELL above the Courier LOL. Keep us posted for sure!!! Matt |

I added some tabs on the cage for the rear down bars and a prerunner type light bar up front: ....and started work on the bed support that will tie into the rear cage/bumper |
