| Re: Szczerba's F-Toy #744 Thanks. Fuel cell is all ROLANDROCKSHOP Made a mount/skid for the fuel cell. Still digging around the shop for fuel lines. Probably going to strip some wire down. Not having good luck with these axle gears. I was just doing some slow crawling tonight and the rear gears started stripping. They are shimmed from the factory but not well enough apparently. Already had to buy some front gears now, I'll have to buy some rear gears if these continue to loose teeth. Decided to add a few 'yota theme stickers and some 1:1 and 1:10 sponsors decals. Yes ? No ? |

Hide that tranny! Seriously though, add a simple interior and it'll be really sweet. |

I was going to make some aluminum panels for it to match the beadlock rings but the white just kinda stuck. And styrene is light. Also, the side panels will have to be on the outside if I use the aluminum. I have to wedge/bend the styrene panels now to fit them in. They are not secured in, just a good fit with notches I made. There's a dash in there! Decal kit for the dash on the way. Transmission will be showing like it is. Reasoning for the axial spur cover. I'll hide some of it when I get these seats in RCGug Seat Kit @ TCS Crawlers Also, have some two shackles, optima red top, blue cooler and steering wheel, on the way. Should be here Monday. Lights will get mounted up before too long.

Added some lights, fuel lines and a rear cowl to cover some of the electronics. And a CB antenna. Seats will fit up close to the cowl and hide most of the rear electronics.

| Re: Szczerba's F-Toy #744 thank you. It's slowing building steam to the finish line. I don't know what it is but Reign RC really captured the F-Toy look with this cage. Quote:
Probably won't get to the winch or radiator setup. Seats will go in tomorrow. I have a 3Racing winch but it looks too big on the front bumper and doesn't fit inside the hood due to hood mounting tabs locations. Probably going to get a LockedUp RC servo winch in a couple weeks. And some locking hubs. Numbers will be applied on the side panels. Shooting for "744" , just have to find the right numbers. I put a Traxxas "4" on it right quick. Foam and sanding block are to support the rig when not in use to save the leaf springs. Last edited by Szczerba; 04-22-2012 at 08:14 PM.

The post above me has wrong information. I think that this rig will be running with new gears at ECC. |

Kinda a throw together interior. Works for me. It won't be winning any awards with it but I think it passes as an interior. Truck is about 6 lbs RTR as pictured. That little cooler weighs like 2 ounces! That's the new HolmesHobbies amp. New for 2012

| Re: Szczerba's F-Toy #744 I really dig them as well. They seem to be a rare build on RCC though. I got the Reign f-toy cage on sale at RPP. Solid frame. I did have to make some modifications to run it with leaf springs. My front could be raked out a touch but it would put the front hangers out even further. I'll take some wheel rub since the wb looks good as is. I am not a scale master by any means but this build passes for me. J ust don't look too close for too long. Just glance |

Turning out great, i think the interior works fine for the rig. It's probably a combo of leafs f/r, tires/wheels, and yota axles that makes me like this vs other f-toys. I love drivin full leaf'd scalers, they're a blast. Great build.
