Well the f-toy has gone full circle and is on it's way back to Shane. Kind of sad to see it go cause it was a great truck but ready to start a new project. Glad to see it going back to its original home.

Thanks for letting me pry it out your hands. It's one of the few rigs that I have built that I regret selling.

I built this rig back in 3/2012, sold it 12/2012 and got it back in the shop yesterday. It's amazing how untouched it was. Some stickers removed, some added. And a tail pipe and driver were added. Other than that, just as I sold it! Can't say enough to the two guys that had it before me that kept it the same. I will do a teardown and rebuild in the near future. Tailpipe 1.55 growlers with Crawler innovations foams Last edited by Szczerba; 04-08-2014 at 11:16 AM. |

I forgot about this thread Shane. I started my 1.9 F-Toy last week, and all of a sudden this pops back up...good timing |

| Re: Szczerba's F-Toy #744 yep I am glad to have it back in my shop. I will run it a little bit this weekend and get the feel of 'er again. You going to do a build thread? |

I've never looked at those tires twice until I saw them on this thing. How sticky are they? I'm highly debating about picking up a set and shelving the pitbulls. Rig looks fantastic, love the leaf springs!

I bet it will look great. Quote:
I shaved the sidewalls for a more scalish worn look and siped the lugs. The compound is not RC4WD's stickest offering but it's fine by me. This is 1.55 wheel/tire'd leaf spring rig, so it has it's limitations but actually crawls great. And it floats a front tire like a champ! Thinking about running 'er in the Iron Mountain Recon G6 night stage. I took it out for a half a pack and it handled all the tough areas just fine.

Ran the night stage with the F-Toy. Started towards the back since I didnt have a playing card and worked my way through pack to top ten. I was on a mission! Going to run another lap for fun. |

Awesome build and glad you were able to get it back. I think I like it best with the 1.9s. Steve |

| Re: Szczerba's F-Toy #744 These 1.9's look decent. The Pitbulls (pictured several pages back) are on the edge of looking too tall. I like wheeling the 1.55's the best. Give me the most challenge. |

Szczerba where do you mount your battery with that interior? i have a reign F-Toy chassis also and put the battery under the hood but all my elecs go on the sliders. I would like a better interior than what i have(appache int) now. Thanks Edit: found the bat location- about 4 posts up.... Last edited by cykb4117; 05-01-2014 at 11:23 AM.

New shop looks much better than the homeless cardboard backdrop that these things were built in previously if I ever get motivation I might convert my photo box into a garage. I love the build!
