well, I do have a course in my back yard and another down the street. Plus I think Stoners house has harder courses. Just kidding. I did really well at my first 2.2 Comp also, and then just declined. Or I stayed the same and everyone else got better. Not sure which. :-)

Nice !! That's a good amount of abuse. Gotta love the flat black Yota's.

Looks like you're putting the beatdown on that truck, and it likes it.

The pictures with those huge rocks, seems even 1:1 rigs would have a hard time on them. Those rocks look like ankle busters.

Yeah the truck performs great. Has a bit of a heavy top I might need a bit more wheel weight. But the tsl tires hook up awesome and the truck can almost anywhere I want.

Well after breaking two of the $50 fender flares and trashing the mirrors, I decided I wanted to try something. The kids had some clay that dries hard like plastic, so I wanted to make some big flares to make the truck more PA legal (inspection law states tires can not stick out of truck fenders more then 2 inches). I also wanted some mirrors since for a bit more scale points. :-) These may fail miserably, but it was worth a shot. :-)

After trashing another motor and my output shaft , I installed a Robinson racing gear and fixed the motor. Also installed over drive gears in the front. The motor fix did not last. Going to have to try something else.

Added these for the comp last Sunday, then I spun a wheel hex. Grrr... Blumaro is shipping me wheels. I am trying to be ready for TTC in August. I am going to try to drive the heck out of this and make sure it's gonna make it.

Tundra gets new shoes thanks to Blumaro. I don't remember what kind they are though. When I pulled the old ones off almost all the plastic wheels were starting to strip. Making lots of torque now!

Well I undid the 128 screws on the mayhems and the 64 on the axials and switched to the TSLs and added my weights back in. MUCH better. The Ripsaw might be ok when broke in, but the TSLs just hook up on rock so much better.

I was bored so I thru on the 2.2 TSL's just to see how it would look. :-) This body would need a lot of cutting to be a class 3 (and yes I have seen it done).

I'd sell em. Pm me an offer.

Thanks for the kind words. I wanted the "outlaw" look on it.

THis truck did decent at the TTC comp. Nothing broke, although I did choke out the motor during the mud bog and had to tear it down and clean it. I didn't make the hill climb as I rolled it. Which, so did everyone else, so I don't feel so bad. Did have to winch a few times, but that's mostly because I was trying to video while driving and it didn't work out so well. Once I put the camera down, I ran fine.

Well finally had some time to install some new parts I ordered. I got some CVDs and aluminum C Hubs and knuckles for cheap online. So I set about getting more steering out of this truck. The difference is amazing. I tightened up the circle it drives down to about 2.5ft It was like 4 before. WOOT! I was able to take first at the last comp with this truck for class 2. I even beat Goldwing whom had been kicking my butt all year long. :-)

And here is a stock scx10 with a Hand Bro CMS to show the difference.

I am loving the extra steering. I rub on the body now where I never did before. I almost rub the links at full lock. :-)

Well, I was going to tear this down and rebuild for the Big Dog Winter Series, but I haven't had the ambition. Everyone else is getting ready and putting in more scale points, and I have done nothing. :-)

Maybe I will get some more ambition before the comp to do a few little mods.
