Lightbulb ☆ Homeless Hobbies "Dumpster Diver" TTC LUX build ☆

Here is a build that will take a while... The plan is to build a complete TTC specific rig in true "homeless" fashion... With at the very least 90% of the parts either crazy cheap used or donated dirty and beat on hand me downs..

Now you noticed I said 90%... Well.. I'll be using a new TOP SECRET Mattzilla chassis that will be available from homeless hobbies very soon!

Here are some pics to get this sucker rollin! Let me know what ya think!

Ok so if you know me, Then you know I love a good community build! I've been talking to a forum member (AXIALJEEPSTER) about hooking this dumpster diver up with a flatbed and it's looking like it's OFFICIAL!

Thanks Jeepster! I'm excited to have your skills laid on this rig buddy! It's always a bonus when you can get members of the community to put a hand in on a build! It really makes the truck worth so much more!

I'll have this beater on it's way to axialjeepster tomorrow and we'll be rock'n a kick ass rear end in NO TIME FLAT!

If you haven't seen any of this guys work.. check out this link

Trying to pick a tire to suit a TTC style build is hard due to the abundant supply of TTC style tires.. I love me some 1.9 pitbulls but I'm thinking I might give the Iroks a go on this sucker.. providing I can find a used set...

If I cant I might have to use the pitbulls anyway...

oh no.. I pictured this paradise but nooo.. JK.!! thats a good looking work space you have there..

so speaking of late nites, I just came back in the house for the night/nite and have a small update..

its an UPDATE..

ok so i got to looking at this and Im not sure what Dustin has planned for the front bumper, winch? no winch? where the body needs to sit?

soo i took it apon myself to decide where its going and build the sliders/body mounts so the front of the grill sits flush with the end of the chassis so ther will be room for a winch plate and winch (I will add a plate if you like dustin).. its np really but I dont know what you want there yet.........

so now I need to weld the "sliders" onto the body mounting plates I made then we have sliders.. very easy from here.

should have a good start on the BED tomorrow.. this YOTA is going to be SIIIK. very nice and a great idea for a buiild, I always wanted a rig that was made from used dirty ol crap you dont have to worry bout gettin dirty. but then again this might turn out nicer than you think!!

blah blah sry..

just a couple pics. for now

DONE

Man thats a killer rig! Props for the kick ass flatbed! I was out in the driveway this morning trying to figure out a tasteful way to hook up my 2011 Civic with a flatbed.. Haven't quite worked out where the child seats will go yet but I'm close!

Nice fakeout...You had me staring at the picture trying to figure it out.

Great start on the chassis parts. This should be interesting.
