Default Sas'd and Linked Tacoma

I know I had a thread posted before... but got butthurt over what someone said and deleted it... After seeing how well its come together I figured I dont give a shit and want to post it back up..

SCX chassis, custom shock mounts by me
Cast yota axles w/ custom trusses
Pitbulls and axial Blocks
Honcho cab
Custom drop bed to come
SCX shocks

I have a feeling this thing is going to be a performer. Ive gotten some new tools to get the links all the perfect length, the shock towers are perfect, the panhard bar is correctly measured, Now i just have to make a CMS mount and toss in an FXR and it will be a runner. Then I will start on the bumpers and the bed.

Haha yeah sorry, I just wanted it to be back up for my own viewing pleasure. I really wanna get into making some scale videos, I will be running this while the bed is being built.

I dont know what was said but don't let one comment kill your build. I am a fan of honcho body and this looks like a good start.

This build looks great! The trusses on those yota axles are killer!!! Very original. Love 'em.

I also have experience in filming motocross/jackass style ATV racing, I know how to get some good shots.

Thank you! I think its my favorite part of the build since it was the first time I had ever brazed anything. Im just scared now at just how durable the tabs are

Much appreatiated! I just used a just about used up cut off wheel on my dremel with the little "Pencil adapter" (as I call it) and just had to keep a steady hand while the wheel was on the outline of the light, then cleaned it up with an X-acto knife and painted the buckets and tossed them in with superglue around the border, and then when it dried I sealed the seam with more superglue so they can take a beating. Need to figure out some lenses next. Shouldnt be too late for you to do it, unless you threw them away

Wired up some lights. They just plug right into the AUX on the RX and the ones in the cab un-plug. Got these in just to hold me over until I can get rock lights and real tail lights in the bed when its built. These will do for crabbin in Panama City this week with my girl friend

Don't fret over a comment...whatever it was. Build for yourself, be happy with your work. At least you're thinking, and trying and learning. If the forum didn't exist, would you stop wanting to build? Of course not. Rub some dirt on it and get back in there.

Thanks dude! I bet if this forum did shut down for a month, we would come back on here with most members having tons of shit done and thousands of new ways to build things ...... and maybe some of the chit chat trolls will have either moved on with their lives or finally built something to drive
