you just convinced me that my truck needs power more than it needs an interior

No mud or water for the pro4?

It is already waterproofed! Just used silicon around motor wires and sensor wire, thats it. The same thing I did with my Crawlmaro.

I've finally had it with the rc4wd 110mm shocks, so threw some 95mm powerstrokes I had on and it's much better. But I may dual shock the front because it's so front heavy. What has been anyones experience with dual shocks?

Tiny update, installed a long MIP male bone drive shaft for a traxxas summit, it's just barely is short enough with the length I have the rear extended now.

Love the truck, the cut boggers are sick! I bet they work great especially in the rear for when things get nasty. very nice.

Thanks man, and yes having the cut boggers in the rear is definitely better than the iroks all around in my opinion.

Ya my friend has the rc4wd ones but they grind the knuckles and if you really tighten them down, the axle locks up and wont spin. Maybe that's just because he uses axial high steer knuckles?

My g mades work pretty well for me.

Put a brand new MMP in last night, testing it out today. This should solve my overheating issue.

Finally got a full pack through it today. With just some carnage

Found a hole in one of my boggers, which is surprising because they only have 5 hours of run time on em. I also found 2 little holes in the sidewall of one of the iroks! So I dont know if it was a fluke or I need different tires?

Also noticed a couple times when this irok was wedged in a hole, the wheel would spin inside the tire. Hopefully a remount will fix it but it was mounted well the first time. Here's the spun bead.

And on a nasty roll over the cage landed right on a pointed rock and promptly snapped it, plastic welder to the rescue

I mounted my 1.9 stamped steel wheels 4 different times today because they kept losing the bead I guess they cant hold what the pro4 dishes out on 3s/65c. So I need some reliable beadlock wheels in time for NWSC at the end of september. I was thinking the gearhead slot mags but havnt read any reviews.

So my question is whats a wheel that can stand up to the abuse I put this rig through???

And a pic from todays testing

I don't have any vids as of yet, but I'm going to the dunes tomorrow and threw some panther paddle tires on it. I'll get some vids in the sand but they will be more like FOFF vids

UGC rc4wd steelie spacers and a lil scuffing of the wheel/spacer helped with spinning the beads for me. Seems like the steelie is a lil too slick.

Underground Crawlers RC4WD spacers

The iroks look awesome on the steelies, always preferred the normal looking wheel style

Did you need special pinions or could you use the ones you already had?

Rc FOFF Axial SCX10 Crawler - YouTube

Sadly, I only got this tiny vid with my iphone, too much fun playing with it! After 20 min. of bashing the bolt that holds the knuckle to the chub fell out, and I noticed the Vanquish chub threads were stripped out Witch cut me short.
