GOT LIGHT ?
Yeah they are freaking crazy bright!!!

In the pic of me looking at the rig from 3ft you can see my regular headlights are out, must have unplugged them. Don't think it will make much difference but I certainly wont have a shortage of light.

Thanks to a couple of my RCC friends I got a couple more detail parts for the H2 and Cherokee.

R2j/Shon was nice enough to send me some Axial hubs and a T36 tow rope and 62PYRO/Pat was nice enough to send me a couple tow shackles, 3 tow ropes and a Reign RC antenna.

The only thing left for the H2 is to put the Pro Line scale goodies that are on their way in the back and make a little more room in the fire wall for the lipo.

I also finished painting the liquid tape in the LED's that CRAWLER DAD hooked me up with. I've still got a little detail sanding/shaping to do to it but that's it.

Daaayyum thats a long antenna lol

Get the lights out on the trail away from any ambient light, then you will see their true potential.

I think it's the picture angle, it's just a standard Reign antenna. LOL

I'll get it out one more time before Washington just to make sure everything is dialed in and working properly.

I did a little shaping with the file of the roof light to clean up the edges and match the bumper light.

Thank you!

I'll shoot a picture of the bottle when I get home tonight. It can be found at Home Depot or Ace in the electrical isle and is around $4 or $5 I think.

On the lights I painted it in with a small paint brush and then wiped the LED's off with a Q-tip.

Just a small update...

I keep adding detail to this truck as I think of it. This time I added some detail to the body gaps by coloring them black.
I also made myself a license plate for the rear bumper.

That things looking great Brian, nice work with the liquid tape. Those lights are brighter than my 1:1's I think!

Oh, hey...did you have to make your driver a "booster seat"

Thanks, it's coming along.

Yeah these lights are crazy bright, I'm loving them and couldn't beat the price either.

Got some new wheels coming for the H2. Rckcrwlr had a set of RC4WD Torantulas in the for sale section and the deal was too good to pass up. They should look right at home under the H2.

They are CAC 12 holes. Corey over at Rpp has them now in the Gear Head line up.

Unfortuntly no new wheels for the H2. With the 300CVD's there isn't enough room to tighten the wheel nut so they'll sit on the shelf waiting for the next 1.9 build or get traded off for some 2.2's that I'll be needing in the nearer future for a C3 build I've started collecting parts for.

So I went out this morning to South Mountain for a final test and tune before Champs just to see how things were working. The gear change helped cool things down but I noticed my slipper was starting to slip on me. I pulled it apart to check the pad and it was nice and glossy so I took a bit of sand paper to it when I got home and then tightened it down a bit more so it should be fine. I may order a new slipper just in case.

Here's some pics from the outing...
