1.9 Wraith Build Help

Hey guys,

I'm looking to build a wraith on ax10 axles and 1.9s. I have looked at all the builds I can find and have a list of parts i want to use, but I'm on fence about how to go about it...

The question is would I be better off getting the RTR or kit and stripping what I don't need...which is a lot, or should I get a chassis and trans and go from there?

if you scoot your front axle back to make it look more scale like I did with mine. then at that point only rear links will be kept for linkage, and most people will say its preference kit or rtr, its a expensive vehicle you will be changing with over 90$ worth of stuff so keep it in mind

Yeah I plan on using custom links, and the universals that come with the kit aren't worth it cause the axels are getting swapped, so all the Benifits of the kit are moot. That's why I'm thinking the rtr is a better starting....but with the rtr I'm paying for electronics that I'm not going to use... Maybe the esc.

Ckrc has a chassis kit for $69, but it's out of stock.

either buy the kit and sell off what you dont use. youll actually come out ahead if you do this.
or
just buy the chassis/body/interior and tranny from the classifieds for cheap

Ah, never thought about the classifieds.. Guess that is cause I don't have access yet.
