Re: scx10 hilux rebuild

That rig looks awesome, I will tell you this, I honestly think the 4000kv pro4 is way too much for a 1.9 scaler. My jeep has 3300kv pro4 and I'm breaking 100$ parts left and right it seems. I will say this, stock up on axle housings. Lol what battery's are you using? I'm 3s 40c 2650mah lipos, the 1300 3s lipos wouldn't last long enough. Lol

Re: scx10 hilux rebuild

Im going to eventually going to go with aluminum axle housings but Im going too gear it down for now and Im running 2200 40c 3s batterys Im also going too get the aluminum trans case really soon

Re: scx10 hilux rebuild

One of the guys in our group runs traxxas big bore shocks and likes them alot was thinking of trying something different

Re: scx10 hilux rebuild

My big-bores work really smooth. Funny thing is when I first get it out to crawl, I have to cycle the shocks cause thier stuck. But after that they work great. Never had any leaks. +1 on the 4k pro4. My 3300K is more than I could have ever asked for on 3cell. Went 4 cell for 30 mins and no heat issue with motor or mmp. looks good man but I know it's already changed a bit from these pics8)
