The Lovell rig has always been my favorite rig if pro rock crawling, there was one on KSL for sale about a year ago, I just come up with the money. Your build of this rig is my favorite build on RCC. Great fab work, I just wish I had more time to try to build one like it.

The attention to detail on this rig is simply insane. You've done a wonderful job recreating the 1:1 (and actually making it look better too). The axles look perfect under there, as does all the tube work. Touches like the GPS reciever on the roof really set this build apart. Keep up the good work! You're an inspiration

Nice, was it the orange one? Or a black one? I remember seeing both on the classifieds. Sweet rigs no doubt.

Wow, thanks for the compliments. However the Gps broke off on one of the first rollovers and the fabricator hasn't built another one! Dang him!

Default Trying some different tires

So far i'm liking them, the only downside i've noticed to the treps is they don't turn as sharp due to the wider contact patch. But that wider c-patch has some benefits i like.

Oh yeah, side note. With 2 oz of wheel weight added to each front wheel, she weighs in at 7.0 lbs exact.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I woke up to a good amount of snow today, and it got me excited. Anyone else love it when the wet snow freezes so there is a nice and hard layer on top so that your rig doesn't break through? It makes it so you can do full speed drifts roostin tons of snow, drop cornus's, climb gnarly freeze's, etc. It always makes things fun.

Anyways the rig seems done but it's never done.
Here's some stuff on the waiting list:
-Wheel/tire vents-maybe matching spare
-New GPS antenna/mount
-Decals
-Figure out why my front/rear light bar lights aren't working with the light controller.
-Remake a fuel line that fell off - darn ca glue
-Remake a shifter that fell off. - dang ca glue

Very nice build, love the look of it!

You say you don't like the treps, what you don't like about them?

Thank you, i do like the treps but prefer the gladiator more because of the size, and stickiness of the rubbber. Example, the gladiators make the axle appear more scale because it's a bigger tire. This sounds weird, but i also prefer looking at the tread design of the nitto vs the maxxis.

Only 1 more final left in school, hopefully i'll get my hands on it soon and have some updates.

Amazing workmanship and skills, should be scale build of the year. I am in the process of building something similar, just trying to find the time. Thumbs up.

Freaken sweet build really enjoyed the build-up!
Drawing the plans to begin with is a real good idea, and as many others have mentioned the attention to detail is great!
