I'm not trying to be a hardbody snob but this is the only lexan body rig that
I like on the forum. You did a great job on Fred Ryan!

heres a pic of the mold I made

dash and seat and other details added I will remove it and paint it grey.

Its mounted in the front on a carbon fiber battery tray I made and in the rear I used servo posts and drilled the frame to mount them.

I also got the body painted. silver and black on the inside the out side was painted some dupla color and adhesion promoter then a flat clear coat.

no time for decals tonight as I sleepy ..

How did you vacuum form this??

Another Mile Stone for Fred RECON G6 Certified... Participated in the Bump-N-dance Recon G6 in Moab Ut. We did a long 100 gate day course and a 60 + night course here's the only pic I have in my phone. (camera is charging)

I finished! That really that was my only goal Besides making sure my boy Jordan finished, Witch after our last battery died (didn't charge them all) I pulled him through 2 gates and realized that wasn't gonna work out I then finished myself and ran my battery back to him so he could finish!! Made my weekend

Awesome you still have this rig. I always like it. Curries would be cool. Maybe Chris @ creationfabs can make Delrin tubes for the curries. I know he can for the front. Don't know if he can for the rear tubes.

Wow amazing build! Love everything about it. Just curious how the cab is attached. I see the front is velcroed, does the rear just sit on the frame rails?

Man them curries are not cheap after adding all the stuff you need I'd need a small loan or sell some organs. but they look soooo sick

on a side note a few pages back you asked me about a rig I had, I put a new body on it and reworked some tube... Here's a link to our local forum where I did a build thread. EFF2FIDDY

Thanks, Yeah its only attached Velcro in the front witch works fine 90% or more of the time. I did have the body come loose two times in a comp, its something I always neglect make better till it bites me then I forget again maybe I'll make it better today.. maybe I'll forget again lol

The curries do cost a lot. You could piece them together.
I just got done going through your f250 build thread. That thing is awesome.

Another 4th place last weekend couple photos to share that some buddies took while on course

If you look at the horizon in the back ground it will give you an idea how steep this gate is.

This lil peach of a gate had me worried its of camber with a transition on a 10+ foot cliff... had to burn a reverse

little out of focus but cool

That looks like great terrain to wheel in. I wish we had that here in PA...for the RC and the 1:1.
