Love the larger rigs, but the market rules, and 1:10 is easier to produce and buyers like the size. Us small niche market of builders just get the scraps of bodies that the toy makers put out. I tried building a larger size body, but most of the RC components available then were underwhelming to say the least.

When I eventually have kids, I totally plan to make a 1:4ish scale rig to drive them around in. Lue will be the go-to for the metal work... lol

Looks awesome! Can't wait to get going on some body work, but I've got a tall task to try to get it even a fraction as good as the cage work.

Thanks! We'll chat tomorrow.

Looks good to me

For the body work, one thing I want to do is match this style tail light, but switch to a CJ7 style tail gate (With the Jeep logo embossed in) should be easy to do once I get the body back for measurements.

Something like this:

Still needs a few tweaks and some real dimensions, but that's the general idea.

Not much of an update, but it's an update.

Plan is to fix a spot on the cage that isn't *quite* right, as well as add a winch mount plate to the front bumper, CMS + Panhard, rear shocks, sticker removal, paint... still alot to do.

I will probably not get much more done until mid December. School is killing me, among other responsibilities, but there will be progress.
